INTERACTIVE SCULPTURE VIDEO INSTALLATION
This is the interaction with The final imprint piece of my body filled with water.When the sculpture is alone the sonogram video loops constantly as soon as a viewer approaches it, the heart beat sound and the new visuals appear.

This is the second version of a positive of the body a broken torso which caught my attention during the process and I found more esthetically appealing, the interaction is different….is not concave the element of water is missing but it has a resemblance to an artifact that I appreciate.
This below is a short sample of the footage shot underwater with three Dancers that Collaborated with me. This footage is trying to create a resemblance of these ephemeral moment but alluding to the present moment. a recreation better explained in this quote

the essence of the human being.. life detached from anything else except the ephemeral enviorment of the womb your air and pulse
Description( Thesis Statement )
Having as a starting point the Ephemeral moment of being inside a womb, emphasizing the present moment with the heartbeat breath and the prescence of water.
I am interested in working with sounds from the body , breath , pulse (heart) to experiment with these sounds and the material part of life, the body. I am interested in doing a video and sound installation that will bring the very material experience of the body having the rythmic sounds be reminders of mortality.
I want to experiment with the idea also of being able to breath under water that we once did and we are never capable of doing it again.. how would it feel to leave all the material life and be back in the womb, surrounded by your heart and breath
Personal Statement
How displace can someone feel in others womb? how permeable can visuals and sound stimulation make someone to their own womb or the others womb? “see the otherness of the desired self, and familiarity of the despised other” and to recognize one’s self “within those others to whom we would otherwise respond with revulsion and avoidance.”
